Journal of Comparative Health and Sciences (JC. Health Science) is an open-access, peer-reviewed journal publishing translational health sciences research across human and animal medicine. Using a One Health framework, it advances clinical practice, public health, and biomedical science to address shared health challenges.

 

Aims

 Comp. Health Sci. is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal publishing translational health sciences research across human and animal medicine. Using a One Health framework, the journal bridges clinical practice, public health, biomedical science, and environmental health to address shared health challenges. We prioritize studies with direct relevance to patient care, clinical decision-making, health policy, and population health outcomes.

All submissions undergo rigorous peer review.

 

Full Papers: Original research presenting substantial new data, analysis, or methods with comparative or One Health relevance. _Word limit: 6,000; Figures/Tables: 8 combined.

Short Communications: Concise reports of novel findings, pilot studies, or significant methodological advances. Word limit: 2,500; Figures/Tables: 4 combined.

Case Reports / Case Series: Clinically significant cases in human or veterinary medicine with comparative, translational, or One Health implications. Must include clear discussion of broader relevance. Word limit: 2,000; Figures/Tables: 3 combined.

Review Articles: Systematic reviews, meta-analyses, or narrative reviews synthesizing comparative health topics. _By invitation or pre-submission inquiry preferred. Word limit: 7,000.

Methods Papers: New or significantly improved techniques, protocols, or data integration methods enabling cross-species or cross-sector research. _Word limit: 4,000.

Letters to the Editor: Commentary on articles published in JC. Health Science, or brief observations on urgent issues in comparative health or One Health. Word limit: 800; References: 5 max.

Methods papers enabling cross-species or cross-sector research

Policy analyses and implementation science for medicine comparative/One Health programs and veterinary medicine.

 

JC Health Science. is committed to rigorous peer review, rapid dissemination, and fostering dialogue between clinicians, veterinarians, researchers, and policymakers working toward shared health
